Mexican OTT video streaming site ClaroTV, a joint venture between Carlos Slim's giant telecom conglomerate America Movil and telenovelas powerhouse Clarovideo, is gearing up its first original series with its upcoming psychological thriller series," ", based on the award-winning movie-cum-TV show by the same name, which is set to debut on YouTube in November. This series tells the story of a young woman from a broken family who decides to go out on her own, finding adventure along the way, while dealing with a dangerous past and a life-threatening secret. The series will consist of twelve episodes, the last of which is scheduled for release in January of next year. ClaroTV recently announced the acquisition of El Torito from the production company Jazzy Productions, which was originally created by the legendary producer Mario de la Iglesia.
